Congress Becomes Indecent In Its Nannyism

The FCC recently raised the penalties on "obscene" material.
From now on, if someone wants to see indecent material, they will go to the internet, cable, watch a movie in the theatre or on DVD, or look at some magazines. This legislation is not only heavy handed, its ultimately pointless..
Besides, when Jerry Falwell blamed 9/11 on homosexuals, femanists and liberals, I thought THAT was pretty obscene! I mean, who gets to decides what’s obscene, anyway?
